COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri gymnastics team wrapped up the 23rd State Farm Cat Classic with individual wins by freshmen Lauren Schwartzman and Jodie Heinicka.

Schartzman took home the top prize in the balance beam and tied for first in the floor exercise with scores of 9.9 in both events. Heinicka won the uneven bars with a mark of 9.875. In fact, Mizzou grabbed the top two spots in those events with sophomore Rachael Dombart recording a score of 9.875 on the beam and junior Lindsay Davis with a mark of 9.775 on the uneven bars.

Other Tigers placing individually included junior Rachel Bridges (9.875), senior Alina Hamm (9.775) and Davis (9.125) on the vault.

Davis took a fall during her vault and injured her forehead. Following the event, Davis removed herself from the line to receive stitches. Although a scary shock, the junior looks to be back in the running next week when the Tigers return to action Feb. 14, versus Auburn University in Alabama.
