Another Day, Another 10 Rebounds: Evan Unrau recorded 13 rebounds to lead the Tigers in rebounds for the 11th time this season. She also had 16 points to record her sixth double-double of the year. Unrau has now collected 10 or more rebounds in seven games this season and second time in the Tigers' past three outings.
Career Day: Kerensa Barr scored 24 points, tying her career-high mark set earlier this season against Southwest Missouri State (11/19). Barr also tied her career-best of three 3-point field goals done earlier this season against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (12/20) and Nebraska (2/2). Barr did set one personal best as she made nine field goals, snapping her previous high of eight against Oklahoma State (1/6) and Baylor (1/19).
Get That Out Of Here: Amy Loftus became the first Tiger to block three shots this season as she had three rejections, all in the first half, against the Jayhawks. The three blocked shots are a career best for Loftus.
Also Having Career Days: Melanie Fisher had a career-high three assists while Tracy Lozier tied her personal best of three 3-point field goals.
And Counting: Kerensa Barr had five assists to push her career total to 301. She passed Erika Martin (1992-96) for fifth place on the Missouri all-time career chart. Martin had 299 assists. If Barr records 24 more assists in the Tigers' final five regular season games, she could finish the season ranked third all-time at MU. Currently just ahead of Barr on MU's career assists chart are Lisa Ellis (1985-88) ranks third with 324 assists while Joni Davis (1982-85) is fourth with 323 assists.
Natalie Bright's five assists push her career total to 296.
Back On Top: Kerensa Barr sank three free throws against the Jayhawks to return to first place at Missouri for career free throw percentage. Barr's 3-of-3 performance moves her all-time mark to 79.74 (189-of-237) and tops Julie Helm's mark of 79.7 percent.
Offensive Rebound Saturday: Missouri snared 20 offensive rebounds for the third time in the past four Saturdays. The Tigers also had 20 offensive rebounds against Baylor (1/19) and 21 offensive rebounds against Nebraska (2/2).
