Providers Announced for Saturday's Missouri-Nebraska Pay-Per-View Telecast

Oct. 9, 2002

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri's football game at Nebraska this Saturday will be televised via pay-per-view on participating cable systems in Missouri and Nebraska and nationwide to satellite TV services. This will mark the first-ever pay-per-view telecast in Tiger football history.

Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, will produce and distribute the game. Retail price is $29.95. Kickoff is 11:30 AM CT from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised pay-per-view.
