Tiger Men's Golf Competes at The Nelson

Stanford, Calif.. - The University of Missouri men's golf squad competed in Round 2 of The Nelson Invitational in Stanford, Calif., on Saturday. The Tigers are now in 14th after shooting a 296 in the second round of the tournament and carries a two-round total of 588. Georgia Tech leads the tourney with a total of 565 heading into the final day.

Senior Chris Happ is currently the top Tiger individually in 29th place. After firing his best round of the season yesterday (69), Happ carded a 76 for a two-day total of 145, just 10 strokes off the lead and six out of the top five.

Junior David Jenkins had a solid round in Day 2 firing a 73 and is in 50th while senior Cory Ewert had sort of a rough time of it shooting a 79 after pouring in a 71 in the first round and is tied for 59th. Junior Mike Radek is also tied for 59th after shooting consistent rounds of 76 and 74 while junior Brandon Knaub sits in 66th with a two round total of 151.
