Missouri junior Elin Ohlsson shot an 80 in the first round of the 2002 Central Regional Golf Championships at the Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, Mich. on Thursday. She is currently tied for 40th place.

Ohlsson shot a five-over-par, 41, on the front nine then carded a three-over par, 39, on the back nine, including a birdie on the par four 14th hole.

The second round will be held tomorrow with the final round taking place on Saturday. Ohlsson will tee off at 11:10 p.m. in tomorrow's second round.
