Missouri Tennis Prepares for Big 12 Championships

The Missouri Tiger women's tennis team will take on Oklahoma State at 10 a.m. Thursday in the first round of the Big 12 Championships at the Texas A&M Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.

The Tigers finished the season with a 10-11 record after narrowly falling to Oklahoma last weekend 4-3. Missouri is ranked No. 65 in the latest poll and has been ranked as high as No. 55 earlier in the season. Oklahoma State is 12-10 overall, 6-5 in conference play.

In their meeting earlier in the season, Missouri knocked off Oklahoma State 4-3 at the Green Tennis Center at Mizzou. In that meeting, the Tigers won all three doubles matches and had singles victories from sophomore Urska Juric, junior Kristina Olshanskaya and senior Caitlin Thompson.

The winner of Thursday's Missouri/Oklahoma State match will move onto the second round to face Baylor at 1 p.m. on Friday.
