Strong Showing: Kerensa Barr had one of her better games, statistically this season by recording 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Barr, who has had two double-doubles this season, also had three steals. Her four 3-point field goals are a career high.
Cheering her on: With a number of her family members and former teammates present, Angie Carter had a strong performance. Carter, a freshman from Longview, Texas, tied her career high with nine points, including a pair of 3-point field goals. She also had three rebounds and three assists.
Close, but not quite: While Missouri's 15 first-half points are the low mark this season, MU's all-time record for fewest points in a half is 13 set against Oklahoma State on Feb. 23, 1996.
Runs: Texas A&M used an 11-0 run to pull away from the Tigers midway through the first half. The run, which took the score from 10-6 to 21-6, might have been a knockout blow for the Tigers, who had five turnovers and missed six straight shots during that time. The Aggies used a 16-4 run to open the second half and take a 51-19 lead.
Is it the rims? In addition to only making 7-of-28 field goal attempts in the first half, Missouri only made one of eight free throws.
