Columbia, Mo. - Over 50 former Missouri Basketball players converged on Columbia this weekend for the annual Alumni Weekend.

Festivites began with the Alumni Game, held Saturday morning at the Hearnes Center prior to MU's 12:45 p.m. game with Nebraska. Following the game, a reception was held for the group to relive the old days.

The alumni game was won by the Gold Squad, 71-68. John Woods was the hero, with a game-high 29 points, including the game winning three-pointer with under 20 seconds to play. His shot came after Jason Sutherland hit a jumper to tie the game at 68. Sutherland finished with 15 points and 9 assists, while former teammate Julian Winfield led the black squad with 20 points.

Dan Bingenheimer contributed 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning Gold squad, while Bradd Sutton and Greg Church had 11 and 10 points, respectively, in a losing cause for the Black team. Church added 10 rebounds for the game's only double-double.
