DALLAS -- Missouri freshman Alisha Robinson recorded an all-around score of 39.575 in her first collegiate meet to earn Big 12 Conference Gymnast of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. She is the first Missouri athlete to be named conference gymnast of the week.

Robinson set all five MU freshman records and won four events, including the all-around in the Tigers' season-opening meet against Bowling Green. The Bates City, Mo., native recorded a 9.900 on bars, a 9.925 on vault, and a 9.875 on beam to win all three events. She also registered a 9.875 on floor exercise. Her all-around score is an MU record for any class and her vault score tied the school record. Robinson's all-around score is tied for fourth nationally this week as she is the first MU gymnast to be ranked in the top 10 and top five in program history.
