Tigers Climb to No. 2 in Associated Press Poll

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Tigers enter tonight's game against the Saint Louis Univeristy Billikens ranked No. 2 in the country according to this week's Associated Press poll. Tonight's game between the Tigers and Billikens tips off at 6:00 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN 2.

Mizzou's No. 2 ranking is the highest ranking earned by the Tigers since February of the 1989-90 campaign. As the second-ranked team that week, Missouri defeated No. 1 Kansas and No. 11 Oklahoma and were ranked No. 1 in the country the following week.

Missouri is 7-0 all-time when ranked No. 2 in the country.

Missouri remains as the third-ranked team in the country in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.
