COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's basketball team ranks third among NCAA Division I schools in free throw percentage in the statistical report released by the NCAA through Dec. 17 games.
Missouri has made 142-of-181 free throws for a 78.45 percent mark. MU is tied for 24th in winning percentage (87.5 percent) as the Tigers have opened the season with a 7-1 record. MU will play Arkansas-Pine Bluff Thursday at 7 p.m.
In the individual rankings, Kerensa Barr ranks 13th in free throw percentage. She has made 49-of-53 foul shots (92.5 percent). She also ranks 50th in scoring, averaging 18.25 points per game.
