Men's Basketball Games Continue to Sell Out

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has cut off ticket sales to all but one remaining men's basketball home game, as announced today by the MU Ticket Office.

The most recent sellout includes the Texas A&M game (Jan. 16th), joining previously announced sellouts for games vs. Iowa (Dec. 15th), Nebraska (Jan. 5th), Colorado (Jan. 19th), Kansas State (Jan. 26th), Virginia (Feb. 3rd), Iowa State (Feb. 6th), Texas (Feb. 17th), Oklahoma State (Feb. 25th) and Kansas (March 3rd).

Tickets are still available to see the 2nd-ranked Tigers in action at the Hearnes Center vs. Coppin State on Jan. 2nd, but due to increased demand are going quickly. Tickets can be purchased at the Hearnes box office or by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS. Tickets for the remaining game are priced at $10.

Mizzou has averaged 10,765 fans in five previous home games thus far for the 2001-02 season. Since the 1999-2000 season, when actual turnstile counts have been used to count attendance, MU has averaged 10,882 in 1999-2000 and 11,562 in 2000-01.
