The nationally ranked Missouri Tiger wrestling team will solidify its starting lineup on Friday with the Black and Gold Challenge Matches. The wrestle-offs will begin at 7 p.m. in the Dan Devine Pavilion and is open to the public.
The following is a list of the contenders in each weight class:

149- Jeremy Spates, Casey Roddis, Jesse Jordan and Cody Greene

Missouri enters the season ranked No. 21 and will take to the mats for its first match of the year one week from Friday in a boarder war with Illinois. The match will be held at St. Charles West High School in St. Charles, Mo. The first home event for the Tigers will be the second annual Missouri Open set for Nov. 18.
The Tigers will also be hosting a two-day coaching clinic this weekend. Joining the Tiger coaching staff will be Steve Sanderson and Scott Schatzman. Sanderson has coached five undefeated teams to state championships and had 31 individual state champions. Schatzman was a four-time state champion and a three-time NCAA All-American. Registration for the clinic starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The cost is $60 per coach or $100 per staff. Athletes may also attend for $20.
