Tiger Men Give Aggies All They Can Handle

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Tiger women's swimming team scored a huge victory over the Texas A&M Aggies. Today. The Tigers won by a score of 191.5 to 108.5. Sophomore Sarah Lo set two pool records, her first came in 100 yard backstroke when she won with a time of 56.47 seconds. She followed that up with a time of 2:03.57 in winning the 200 yard backstroke, setting another pool record. Lo also won the 200 yard Individual medley and was a member of the winning 200 yard medley relay team. Another sophomore, Andrea Nigh had a terrific day in the pool. Nigh won the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle. Nigh was also a member of two winning relay teams, the 200 yard medley relay team and the 400 yard freestyle team.

The Missouri Tiger men's swimming team gave nationally ranked Texas A&M all they could handle losing 169.5 to 118.5. Tiger junior Matt Ferrarelli led the men by winning the 200 yard backstroke, the 200yard individual medley, and finished second in the 200 yard backstroke. The Tiger women take on Kansas next Friday in Lawrence and Mizzou is at home next on December 7 against Truman State.
