CARBONDALE, Ill. - The University of Missouri volleyball team defeated Western Kentucky 30-17, 30-25 and 30-19 Saturday at the Best Inns Invitational at Southern Illinois.

The Tigers won game one, 30-17. Missouri was powered by three ace serves by Katie Sowers.

In game two, MU rallied from a 13-6 deficit to take a 30-25 victory.

Missouri, which improves to 6-0, plays Southern Illinois tonight at 7 p.m.
