On the team's schedule this week: "We try to stay on our normal game week schedule and that's very important to me. We've really had two full weeks off. That's always our philosophy in off weeks-- we try to stay on our game week schedule."

On the danger of the team losing intensity during its two weeks off: "We might worry about them getting tired if this were a busy week but with no game to play we're just the opposite. We need every minute to get better. We've got to stay focused on improving every practice. We have to make sure we fundamentally get better. We're not fundamentally a very good football team. And then we've got to start concentrating on Nebraska."
