Columbia, Mo. - In conjunction with the Big 12 Conference release this afternoon, the University of Missouri will move toward resuming athletic competition this weekend, pending successful finalization of travel plans.

In response to many questions, Missouri and Michigan State intend to go forward with their scheduled football game at Noon (central) Saturday in East Lansing, Mich. Details concerning MU's travel plans are not yet determined, and could include either air or ground transportation.

Other teams scheduled to compete this weekend include: men's and women's cross country, and the sports of women's golf, soccer, volleyball and tennis.
