Women's Swimming Team Earns Academic All-America Honor

COLUMBIA, Mo.- The University of Missouri women's swimming and diving team was named an Academic All-America Swim Team by the College Swim Coaches Association for the Spring, 2001 semester. The women's team at MU earned a combined 3.09 GPA.

Four individual student-athletes were tabbed Academic All-Americans as well. On the women's side, junior Ellen Cross and former Tiger Kim Lambert, who graduated in May, were two of 77 women's swimmers honored. Juniors Matt Ferrarelli and Radu Miclaus were named Academic All-Americans for the Missouri men.
