BLANKENBERGE, Belgium - The University of Missouri women's basketball team improved to 3-0 with a 97-72 victory over Blankenberge BBC Wednesday.
Amy Loftus led the Tigers with 20 points. She made eight of 12 field goals in the contest. Loftus was one of six players to score 10 or more points in the game.
Wannette Smith had a game-high 11 rebounds to go with 17 points to record a double-double. Terianne Wolford (13-10) and Evan Unrau (10-10) also had double-doubles. Kerensa Barr (14) and Tracy Lozier (10) also scored in double digits.
Missouri led 50-27 at halftime after shooting 53.7 percent (22x41) in the first half. The Tigers held Blankenberge to 24.2 percent shooting (8x33).
The Tigers will complete their four-game European Excursion on Thursday against Houthalen BBC.
