STILLWATER, Okla. - The University of Missouri softball team fell to Oklahoma State 4-0 Saturday in Big 12 Conference action. The Tigers were never able to get anything started due to the excellent pitcher of the Cowgirls' Lauren Bay. Bay allowed only three hits and recorded seven strikeouts.
OSU scored runs in the first, third, fourth and sixth innings.
The Tigers had chances to score as they put runners in scoring position in the second and seveth innings. In the seventh, Lindsay Jacoby doubled to right-center field before moving to third base on a fly ball out. However, with runners on first base and third base, respectively, the inning ended when the OSU third baseman caught a line drive.
