Columbia, Mo.-The University of Missouri women's soccer team has signed its first international recruit in Tamara Kochen, a forward from Tel Aviv, Israel.

Kochen was a member of the Israeli national team and participated in 22 international games. She also played for the ASSA Tel Aviv Football Club.

The 19-year-old will enter the 2001 season as a freshman after serving a two-year tour in the Israeli Armed Forces.
