DES MOINES, Iowa - The University of Missouri track and field team completed two days of competition at the Drake Relays with two of its big guns turning in prime-time performances.

Sophomores Russ Bell ripped a 181-1 in the discus to pick up the win, while teammate Christian Cantwell threw 62-4 in the shot put for third place. Not to be outdone, the women's 4x800m relay team also had a big performance with a time of 8:44.95 to take the win in the 4x800m relay. The women's distance medley relay team finished second (11:18.22).

The Tiger return to action next weekend when they travel to State College, Pa., to compete in the Penn State Relays.
