Two Missouri Student Athletes Tabbed Academic All-America

COLUMBIA, Mo.- Two Missouri student-athletes were selected as Verizon Academic All-Americans in the fall-winter at-large division. Women's Cross Country runner Ann Marie Brooks was named to the first team while women's diver Kristy Wanner earned second team honors.

Brooks, the Tigers top cross country runner and a member of the national indoor track and field champion distance medley relay team, has a GPA of 4.01 in Plant Science. Wanner is a 4.0 student doing graduate work in Counseling and Sports Psychology. She finished second at the Big 12 Championship meet on the 1-meter diving board, the highest finish of any Missouri diver in school history.
