Spring Update #4

Columbia, Mo.--The University of Missouri volleyball team traveled to Springfield, Mo. last Saturday for their first of two spring tournaments. The Tigers went 3-1-1 on the day during the tournament that took place on the campus of Southwest Missouri State University. Mizzou continues to work the kinks out with new personnel but head coach Susan Kreklow said that she is pleased with the showing the team made this weekend and that everyone continues to work hard in practice to become better.

"We looked great at times on Saturday," Kreklow said. "I think this gives us a good spring board to leap off of for the rest of the spring and gives us a good idea of what we need to work on every day."

Mizzou also scrimmaged with St. Louis University yesterday afternoon in the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse. The Tigers showed flashes of excellent play working well with freshman Chrissy Elder.
