Columbia, Mo.-In addition to the travel packages offered by Canterbury Travel and the Missouri bus trip released yesterday, the MU Alumni Association, Coca-Cola and Ozark Airlines have worked together to offer Tiger fans another outlet to the Sweet Sixteen in Pittsburgh, Penn.
Ozark Airlines is chartering a flight that will depart on Saturday morning to arrive in Pittsburgh before the 11:30 a.m., EST game time. The return flight will depart shortly following the conclusion of the MU-Louisiana Tech game around 2:00 p.m.
Depending upon the outcome of the semifinal game, another plane will be available to shuttle fans to the East Regional final game on Monday. Game time is 7:00 p.m., EST. The return flight will also depart about an hour from the conclusion of the game.
Thirty seats on each flight are available. The MU Alumni Association and Coca-Cola have subsidized the flights to reduce the cost of round trip airfare, a ticket to the game and ground transportation in Pittsburgh to just $200 per person.
