The University of Missouri women's soccer team rounds out regular season play hosting Kansas Fri., Oct. 27 at 4:00 p.m. The game will be played in the Audrey J. Walton Soccer Complex.
The MU-KU game bids farewell to the Tiger's five graduating seniors: Nikki Thole, Kristin Boeker, Becky Paulsen, Jennifer McMaster and Amy Timmermann.
Recent Results
The Tigers are 9-9 with a 4-5 Big 12 Conference mark. MU fell to conference opponent Baylor 2-1 in a heated match Oct. 20 in Waco, Texas. They returned to host Loyola-Chicago Oct. 22 and handed the Ramblers a 5-1 loss.
Baylor only out shot Mizzou 17-14 and bested MU with 9 shots on goal. The Bears pounded the Tiger net with 12 shots (six on goal) in the first half, but Missouri came back to control the second by keeping Baylor to just one net shot.
The Tigers turned out their highest winning margin of the season topping the Ramblers with five points. Mizzou dominated the game out-shooting Loyola-Chicago 25-6. The Tigers also boasted 14 shots on goal while keeping the Ramblers to just three net attempts.
Scouting the Tigers
Missouri owns 30 goals on the season from 277 shot attempts. The Tigers have 127 net shots for a .458 shot on goal percentage. Mizzou is averaging 1.7 goals and 15.4 shots per game.
The Tigers continue their trend of delivering solid second half play. Of their 30 goals, 21 have been scored during the second period.

The forward scored her eighth goal and seventh assist of the year against Loyola-Chicago. She received a cross from senior Jennifer McMaster to head in the Tigers' fourth goal of the game.
In the Big 12, Thole ranks second with a 4.56 shots per game average and is third in overall shots. She comes in sixth in points averaging 1.44 points per game. She is also sixth with a .50 goals and .44 assists per game average. Thole is seventh in the conference in goals.
Dynamite Davis
Freshman Adriene Davis is second on the team with 20 points. She is tied with Thole with eight goals, and also owns four assists. The forward leads the team with a .522 shot on goal percentage taking 24 of 41 shots to the net. She also leads the Tigers with four game-winning goals.
Davis scored a pair of goals last weekend taking one to both Baylor and Loyola-Chicago. Against the Bears, Davis scored the Tigers' only goal in the match. She received an assist by freshman Melissa McLellan and drew the keeper from the box for the score. Against Loyola-Chicago, Davis scored the game-winner unassisted. She launched a cross intended for Thole from the far right side of the field and into the top left corner of the net.
In Big 12 standings, Davis ranks ninth in points and 11th with 1.17 points per game. She comes in 10th with .44 goals per game and is tied for third in game-winning goals.
Timmermann Tidbits
Senior Amy Timmermann proved to be the Tigers' offensive phenom against Loyola-Chicago. The midfielder scored two unassisted goals to help MU garner its highest winning spread of the season. In her first goal, Timmermann collected a shot deflected by the Rambler goalkeeper. Before the goalie could reposition she tapped the ball across the goal line. On her second goal she took a cross shot from the left edge of the box into the top right corner of then net.
The game boosts Timmermann into third-place on the team with nine points. She owns 4 season goals and one assist. She also boasts a .522 shots on goal percentage taking 12 of 23 shots to goal.
Tiger Talk
* Senior Jennifer McMaster is fourth on the team with six points. The forward owns two goals and two assists.
