Columbia, Mo.-The University of Missouri women's basketball team invites members of the media to attend the 2000-2001 Women's Basketball Media Day. The event will be held in conjunction with the Tiger Night of Terror on Oct. 31, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Head Coach Cindy Stein, along with the Tiger coaching staff, and Mizzou players will conduct an interview session beginning at 4:30 p.m., on the Hearnes Center court floor. Following interviews the team will help pass out candy to trick or treaters in the Hearnes Center fieldhouse at 5:00 p.m.

The Tigers continue Halloween festivities at 6:30 p.m., when they take the court to play their first scrimmage of the season. Media and spectators are invited to watch the game and participate in a costume contest at 7:00 p.m.

The MU men's team rounds out the evening at 7:30 p.m., also playing an in-squad scrimmage.
