The University of Missouri's women's soccer team continues to receive pre-season honors. The Tigers are ranked third in the Big 12 Coaches Pre-season poll. No. 1 pick Nebraska led the league with 10 first-place votes and Texas A&M came in second with one first-place recommendation.

Forward Nikki Thole and defender Dyana Russell were both named to the All-Big 12 pre-season team. Thole's ranking comes simultaneously with second team All-American recognition in the College Soccer Online Pre-season Poll.

The Tigers are scheduled to begin regular season play hosting a non-conference game against Creighton Fri., Aug. 25 at 4:00 p.m.
