COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri men's basketball game Wednesday night against Iowa State will be televised by the Mizzou Sports Network, and will be shown on seven affiliates throughout the state.
"We're pleased to be able to bring this game to our fans," said Mario Moccia, associate director of athletics for external relations. "This is a very important game in terms of the Big 12 Conference race, and we felt it was worthwhile to make this game available to those who can't make it to the Hearnes Center in person," he said.
The game, which tips off at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, will be shown in the following areas:
Columbia - KOMU-TV
Joplin - KGCS-TV
Kansas City - Metro Sports
Kirksville - Cable One
St. Joseph - St. Joseph Cable
St. Louis - Charter Cable
Springfield - KBLE-TV
Additionally, approximately 200 tickets remain for the Missouri-Iowa State contest on Wednesday. Tickets can be purchased by calling the MU Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS, or 884-PAWS in Columbia. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting the MU Ticket Office, located on the West side of the Hearnes Center.
Saturday's game against Texas has sold out, marking the fourth sellout of the season for men's basketball. Previously, MU has sold out for the Kansas, Indiana and Iowa games. The single-game attendance record has already been broken twice this year, first with 13,782 fans for the Dec. 7 Indiana game, and most recently when a record 14,098 fans saw MU defeat Kansas, 81-59, on Jan. 22nd.
