The Missouri women's tennis team fell to the Colorado Buffaloes in the Big 12 Conference opener over the weekend, 7-2. Senior Joni Jordan was the sole singles winner for Missouri, defeating junior Mara Berzins 6-1, 7-5. Sophomore Caitlin Thompson teamed up with senior Jelena Kocergin to beat Tracy Moore and Suzanne Bjorkman 8-6 in doubles.

Unfortunately, the Tigers could not come back with a win on Sunday, falling to the Air Force Academy 7-0. Thompson and Jordan each won the first game of their three sets in singles but fell in the final two.

Missouri now sits at a 1-4 overall record.
