Box Score

COLUMBIA, Mo.- Amanda Lassiter recorded a double-double and Missouri (16-6, 6-5) won its fourth straight Big 12 Conference game with a 65-57 win over Colorado (7-15, 2-9) on Saturday night at the Hearnes Center. The four-game conference-winning streak is Mizzou's longest since the 1991-92 campaign and the Tigers' 16th win marks the most wins in a season by Missouri since the 1992-93 season when they finished 19-8.

Amy Monsees led the Tigers with 19 points while Tracy Franklin came off the bench to score 11. The star of the game for Missouri was Lassiter, who tallied 17 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocked shots.

Missouri led 36-34 at halftime, thanks a three-pointer by freshman Kerensa Barr at the buzzer. That three-pointer carried the Tigers into the second half, as Mizzou made it a 9-0 run by scoring the first seven points of the second half to take an eight point lead, 42-34.

With Missouri leading 46-38, Franklin took over for the Tigers, scoring Mizzou's next eight points. The Tigers saw their lead reach 12 points, but Colorado would not go away. A basket by the Jenny Roulier (18 points) with 7:58 left to go brought Colorado within six points at 54-48. That is as close as the Buffaloes would get.
