High School: Lettered for four years in basketball for Mexico High School. Earned all-state honors for three years in a row. Named all-conference all four years. Named all-district all four years. Averaged 17.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game her senior year. Averaged 15.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as a junior. Led her team to two conference championships and three district championships. Also lettered four years in track and softball. Finished third in the high jump at the state championships.
