COLUMBIA, Mo.- Kerensa Barr, a point guard from West Plains, Mo. was named Miss Show Me Basketball this past weekend. Barr has already signed a letter of intent to play at the University of Missouri this fall. She led West Plains High to the Class 4A state title in 1998.

Barr also received the Spalding MBCA (Missouri Basketball Coaches Association) Scholarship Award. She also was tabbed academic all-state. Barr will graduate at the top her class with a 4.0 GPA.

Barr ended her career at West Plains with 1,914 points. She holds 14 school records.
