Volleyball Tigers Fall 2-0

Missouri fell 3-2 to Oklahoma and 3-0 to Kansas over the weekend. Missouri's record falls to 11-10 and 2-6 in the Big 12 Conference.

The Tigers started out on fire, drubbing Oklahoma 15-3 in the first game. The Sooners came back in the second game, winning 15-5 and the third game 15-12. MU camback to take the fourth game 15-3 and force rally play.

The fifth game saw eight ties but the Tigers fell behind at 14-12 and lost the game and match 15-13. Senior Renee Rosinski banged out a career-high 24 kills and freshman Naaron Branson banged out a career-high 19 kills. The Tigers outhit the Sooners, hitting at a .388 clip but it was not enough.

The Tigers and the Jayhawks battled back and fourth the first game, with the Jayhawks coming out on top 16-14. The Jayhawks had control of the second and third game and the Tigers never managed to get ahead losing 15-11 and 15-8.

MU hit a season low .068, with only two Tigers hitting positive. Senior Renee Rosinski led the Tigers with nine kills.
