When the Tigers take the field this spring, they will have one mid-semester addition to the roster. Transfer Christy Caccavo (Olathe, Kan.) joined the Tiger club at the end of December. Caccavo played the last two seasons at the University of Alabama where she pitched a career 32-20 with a 2.05 ERA on the mound for the Tide.
"Christy will bring a great deal of experience and depth to our pitching staff this spring. We are very excited about her addition to our ballclub" said Head Coach Jay Miller.
