Syracuse's Paul Pasqualoni Will Speak at Mizzou

COLUMBIA, MO. -- Paul Pasqualoni, head football coach of the Big East champion Syracuse Orangemen, headlines the speakers at the University of Missouri's annual spring football coaching clinic, Feb. 19-20.

The annual gathering, which will be held at the Holiday Inn Select and MU's Daniel J. Devine Pavilion, also includes the Missouri High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame Banquet. Inductees this year include David Fairchild (Hamilton Penney High School), Burl Fowler (Monett High School), David Meek (Thayer High School), John Titus (Brentwood High School), Bruce Young (Raymore-Peculiar High School), and Larry Walls (Sumner High School). MU Head Football Coach Larry Smith will be the guest speaker at the Hall of Fame Banquet.

Pasqualoni, who has developed star quarterbacks at Syracuse like Don McPherson and Donovan McNabb, will speak Friday evening on "Fundamentals of the Quarterback Position."

High school coaches who will be speaking include Mark Thomas, formerly at Boonville and now at Kearney; Tom Stringer, Topeka (Kan.) Hayden; Darren Sunkett, Riverview Gardens; Ray Hentges, Jefferson City Helias; and Lance Johnston, North Platte. Scott Bostwick, assistant coach at Northwest Missouri State, is also on the schedule, as are all of Missouri's assistant coaches.

The registration fee for the clinic, which includes the Hall of Fame Banquet, is $35 in advance, or $40 at the door.
