No. 1 Oklahoma State Topples Tiger Wrestlers

Stillwater, Oklahoma - The Missouri wrestling team lost Saturday afternoon to #1 Oklahoma State, 44-0 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. MU has now last four straight matches and fell to 3-8 on the season. The Cowboys remained undefeated moving to 22-0 on the season.

The Tigers were unable to score a single win versus the highly touted Cowboys, as MU's conference record dropped to 0-3 in '99. Freshman John Kopnisky (174) did score a moral victory before being pinned by OSU's Mark Smith. Kopnisky's escape point in the match's first minute was the first point scored on Smith in twenty-two dual matches this season.

Missouri returns home for their next match, a Big 12 conference dual with Nebraska on Wednesday, February 17 at 7 pm in the Hearnes Fieldhouse.
