Former Tiger standout golfer Jennifer Feldott has qualified for the 1999 U.S. Women's Open, which will be held June 3-6 at the Old Waverly Golf Club, in West Point, Miss.
Feldott, a four-time letterwinner at Missouri (1991-94), qualified for the Open when she shot a 72 at an Open Qualifier held May 18th at Circle C Golf Glub in Austin, Texas. That score tied her for 10th in the tournament, and she was one of 25 individuals from the qualifier to move on to the Open. She'll be making her second straight appearance in the U.S. Women's Open.
Feldott was a rookie on the LPGA Tour in 1998, and played in 26 tournaments, earning over $39,000. Her best finish was a tie for 5th.
