Audrey J. Walton Stadium is the home of Mizzou soccer. Opened in 1996 following a $1 million gift from Audrey J. Walton, the stadium has been the program's home since its first season and has hosted five NCAA Tournaments.
The venue enters a new era in 2026. A gift from Walton announced in January 2025, one of the 10 largest in Mizzou Athletics history and the largest ever dedicated to the university's Olympic sports, funded a complete rebuild of the playing surface. The project installed a new natural grass soccer field and field subsurface. The Tigers returned to the renovated stadium on Aug. 20, 2026, against Saint Louis in front of 2,324 fans, the largest crowd in program history.
The stadium seats 2,500, with the grandstand running along the west side of the field. Fans have access to restrooms, concession stands and ticket booths at the venue, and a full-size press box serves working media and broadcast crews for every home match.
Walton Stadium has grown with the program. Renovations in 1998 raised seating capacity to 2,500. In 2001, supporters contributed $160,000 to install a lighting system, and Mizzou played its first night match on Aug. 31 of that year, a 3-2 win over Memphis in front of a then-record 1,926 fans. The playing surface was replaced with new Bermuda sod in 2004 before the full field and subsurface rebuild completed ahead of the 2026 season.
The stadium has been Missouri's postseason home as well. Mizzou hosted NCAA Tournament matches in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2012, and the Tigers did not play an NCAA Tournament match away from Walton Stadium until 2014. The program's first NCAA Tournament match, a 3-2 four-overtime loss to Marquette on Nov. 10, 1999, remains the longest match in Mizzou history at 142 minutes. The Tigers earned their first NCAA Tournament win at Walton on Nov. 14, 2003, a 1-0 decision over Eastern Illinois.
Missouri set its program record for home wins in a season with 10 in 2008 and won nine consecutive home matches from Aug. 21 to Oct. 25, 2009.
