Will Poole is in his second season as a student manager with the Mizzou soccer program, having joined the staff ahead of the 2025 season.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Poole assists the coaching and support staff with daily operations, training logistics and match preparation, playing an integral role in maintaining an efficient and organized team environment. He points to the program's atmosphere, on and off the field, as what he enjoys most about the role.
Poole is a 2025 graduate of Park Hill High School, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete. He was a two-time all-state selection and two-time first-team all-region pick in soccer and earned Region Goalkeeper of the Year honors. He also lettered in tennis, collecting all-district and all-conference recognition as a senior. At the club level, Poole competed for KC Athletics, helping the program capture three ECNL conference championships, and in the classroom he distinguished himself as an AP Scholar with Honor.
Poole is pursuing a degree in real estate finance at the University of Missouri. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing tennis and working on spreadsheets. He chose Mizzou for its strong academics, proximity to home and the welcoming environment of its people.
Born June 6, 2007, in Kansas City, Missouri, Poole is the son of Alicia and Bill Poole and has one brother, Ben.
