University of Missouri wrestling will have four competitors in the 2025 U.S. Open competing under Tiger Style Wrestling Club at The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Olympic and World medalist bronze medalist J'den Cox (Columbia, Mo.) leads a contingent of Mizzou wrestlers competing at the U.S. Open, April 26-28, in Las Vegas, Nev. The group of Tiger wrestlers includes four wrestling under the Missouri Wrestling Regional Training Center brand, four future Mizzou wrestlers, as well as former Mizzou wrestler, two-time All-American Dom Bradley (Blue Springs, Mo.).
COLUMBIA, Mo. – In one of his most highly anticipated recruiting classes in recent history, Mizzou Wrestling head coach Brian Smith announced nine wrestlers who signed their national letters of intent Wednesday. Zach Elam (Kansas City, Mo.), Jack Flynn (O'Fallon, Mo.), Cameron Fusco (Imperial, Mo.), Jeremiah Kent (Columbia, Mo.), Jarrett Jacques (Columbia, Mo.), Malik Johnson (Florissant, Mo.), Brock Mauller (Columbia, Mo.), Peyton Mocco (West Allis, Wis.) and Cevion Severado (Saint Peters, Mo.) have all chosen to live #TigerStyle and continue their academic and athletic careers at the University of Missouri. The class includes five prospects ranked in the top-100 by either FloWrestling or Intermat, led Elam, who is ranked No. 2 at 220 pounds and No. 31 overall by FloWrestling.
Rochester, Minn. – Five wrestlers with Mizzou Wrestling ties were in action over the weekend at the U23 World Team Trials in Rochester, Minn. Redshirt sophomore Jaydin Eierman (Columbia, Mo.) posted the highest finish of the group, finishing third at 65 kg.
