Blair DeBord serves as Executive Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer for Mizzou Athletics, where he oversees the department's revenue-generating functions, including philanthropy, ticketing, premium seating, sponsorships, NIL strategy, and new business development.
As a member of Mizzou Athletics’ Senior Leadership Team, DeBord leads Mizzou's revenue teams and develops strategies that align philanthropy, ticketing, premium experiences, corporate partnerships, and emerging business opportunities to support the department's pursuit of competitive excellence in the Southeastern Conference. In 2025, he was promoted to Executive Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer following a period of record-setting growth for Mizzou Athletics.
DeBord has provided executive revenue leadership for Mizzou's transformative $250 million North End Zone project, directing integrated efforts across premium seating sales, corporate partnerships, and capital fundraising. He also spearheaded the rebranding of the department's philanthropic arm to the Mizzou Athletics Fund and the creation of the Mizzou Leadership Circle, a premier donor engagement and stewardship program designed to accelerate philanthropic investment and long-term donor participation.
In his role, DeBord serves as the primary liaison with Mizzou Sports Properties, RevelXP, and other strategic partners focused on expanding fan engagement and creating new business opportunities. He has also played a leading role in the development and execution of Mizzou's Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) strategy, helping position the department for success in the rapidly evolving collegiate athletics landscape.
During his tenure, Mizzou Athletics revenue teams have established and repeatedly surpassed department records for fundraising production, cash contributions, season ticket sales, premium seating revenue, sellouts, and overall revenue generation. His leadership has driven sustainable growth and strengthening Mizzou Athletics' position among the nation's leading athletics programs.
Prior to joining Mizzou, DeBord served as Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Engagement at Memphis, Assistant Athletics Director for Development and Strategic Initiatives at UNLV, Special Project Manager at Tennessee, and Assistant Director of Development at Kansas State.
A former student-athlete, DeBord graduated from Kansas State University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and earned his MBA in 2016 while serving as a graduate assistant in the athletics development office. He was a First Team All-Big 12 catcher for the Wildcats, earned Academic All-Conference honors, served as the program's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative, and participated in the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar.
DeBord and his wife, Ellen, have three children: daughters Evie and Ruthie, and son Louie.
