2013-2014: Moving up to 141 pounds in his final season at Mizzou, Ronan competed at five tournaments for the Tigers. Ronan finished out his career in Columbia, Mo. with nine wins, including two falls.
2012-13: Taking the mat at 133 pounds, Ronan wrestled in five opens throughout the season. He picked up a win on Jan. 13 during the Roger Denker Open against Paxon Fowler of Baker by decision 7-2. Ronan begins the 2013-2014 season at Mizzou with 2 falls and 4 decisions under his belt.
2011-12: Ronan picked up six wins during his sophomore year, four of which came by bonus points. He won two bouts at the Lindenwood Open, including a first period fall over Cumberland's Ethyn Holbrook. He scored another fall at the Kaufman-Brand Open in December, pinning Adam Cline (OBU) in 4:06, and picked up two bonus point wins at the MVC Open on Feb. 5. He pinned Jonathan Madden (UCM) in 1:28 to open the tournament and won by an 8-0 major decision in his first wrestleback.
2010-11: Wrestled in three opens during the season and scored two victories. Ronan picked up his first career win at the UCM Open, winning 6-2 over Brandon Vasquez of LCC. The following week, Ronan defeated King College's Williamson Javari by a 9-8 decision at the Kaufman/Brand Open.
2009-10: Wrestling at 133 pounds, Ronan redshirted his freshman year.
High School: A four year wrestler with the O'Gorman wrestling team in Sioux Falls, S.D., Ronan was an all-conference honoree his junior (2007-08) and senior (2008-09) seasons while wrestling at 125 and 130 pounds, respectively. A South Dakota State Championship qualifier as a sophomore (2006-07), Ronan began his career in the 119 pound weight class. Coached by Jeff Gordon, Ronan was named the Knights 2009 Outstanding Wrestler. A four-time letterwinner in wrestling, Ronan also was awarded a letter in powerlifting. Ronan was a four-sport athlete competing in wrestling, powerlifting, track and cross country. As a freshman, Ronan took first at the South Dakota State Powerlifting Championships.
Personal: Taylor Ronan was born Oct. 22, 1990, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Terry and Kim Ronan. Ronan has younger two brothers, Brandon and Connor, and is a pre-communications major.
