Mitch Swee joined the University of Missouri Sports Medicine Staff in the fall of 2015.  Swee’s primary responsibility is the athletic training services for the Tiger Wrestling Program.  A native of Omaha, Neb., Swee completed his undergraduate degree from University of Nebraska, and went on to obtain a master’s at Oregon State University.

After finishing his masters at OSU, Swee was added to the staff full-time and spent five years primarily covering wrestling and assisting with football. 

Swee is certified in Graston techniques and is a corrective exercise specialist.

Swee is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer through NATABOC and licensed through the Missouri Board of Healing Arts to practice in the state.  He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Mid-America Athletic Trainer’s Association, and the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association.

He and his wife Candice enjoy outdoor activities and reside in Columbia.
