REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2017-18)
- Produced a mark of 15-6 in sophomore campaign, earning top-six finishes in four open tournaments while wrestling at 157 pounds.
- Finished sixth at 157 pounds at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 21), including a 18-1 technical fall win over NE Oklahoma’s Skye Paulk.
- Defeated North Dakota State’s Nick Mergen, 6-3, in an individual match at the South Beach Duals (Dec. 30).
- Placed fifth at the UNI Open (Dec. 9) following a 3-2 performance at the tournament.
- Placed second at 157 pounds at the Lindenwood Open (Nov. 18), producing a record of 4-1, including a 14-3 major decision win over Central Missouri’s Dakota Huss in the opening round.
- Won the Maryville Brand Kaufman Open (Nov. 11) at 157 pounds, going 3-0 at the tournament and defeating McKendree’s Ryan Strope, 4-2 (SV-1) in the finals.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016-17)
- Used a redshirt season in 2016-17 after competing as a true freshman in 2015-16
- Posted a record of 13-6 in unattached competition, placing in the top-five in three open tournaments
- Finished second at 157 pounds at the UNI Open (Dec. 3), only falling to teammate Joey Lavallee in the finals.
- Placed third at the Joe Parisi Open (Nov. 19) following a 5-1 showing, defeating Oklahoma’s Justin Thomas, 2-0, in the third-place match.
FRESHMAN (2015-16)
- Went 14-10 in first year in the Black & Gold, making three dual starts at 157 pounds.
- Won the 157-pound amateur championship at the Joe Parisi Open (Nov. 21), going 5-0 with a major decision and a technical fall on his way to the Championship.
- Took third at the UCM open (Nov. 7), finishing the tournament 5-1 with a major decision and a fall. Earned first collegiate victory with a fall (2:13) over Zane Heiter (Central Missouri).

- Class 2A Illinois state champion at 152 pounds as a senior
- Went 48-1 during his senior campaign
- Was 109-41 prior to last year
- Finished second at the 2014 Illinois state championships
