REDSHIRT SENIOR (2015-16)
- In his final season in the Black & Gold, posted a 26-11 record with a conference title, making the jump from 141 to 157 pounds midway through the season to fill a spot in the starting lineup.
- Recorded nine falls, five major decisions and two technical falls on the season.
- Was awarded the “Hap Whitney Coaches” Award for his determination to always do what was best for the team.
- Before making the jump up two weight classes, placed in the top-three in three open tournaments at 141 pounds.
- Captured the MAC Championship at 157 pounds (March 6) following a 10-2 major decision over No. 21 Bryce Steiert (Northern Iowa), earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
- Posted a 6-5 record and 24 dual points in dual competition at 157 pounds, scoring bonus points in four of six victories (three major decisions, one fall).
- Went 4-1 in MAC duals, including major decision victories over Devan Marry (Eastern Michigan), 12-1 (Jan. 15), and Andrew Morse (Northern Illinois), 11-2 (Feb. 7).
- Took fourth place at the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 20) in first competition at 157 pounds. Posted a 7-2 record in the tournament, earning four falls and one major decision. Earned fastest fall on the season (0:45) in win over Austin Blaede (MSU-Northern).
- Won the UNI Open at 141 pounds (Dec. 12) after a perfect 4-0 showing, posting a technical fall and a fall en route to the championship.
- Took second at the Joe Parisi Open (Nov. 21) and third place at the Maryville Kaufman Brand Open (Nov. 14) after 3-1 performances at each tournament.
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2014-15)
- Competed at 141 pounds for the majority of the season for the Tigers.
- Started in six duals, winning all of them including four falls.
- Took fourth place at the Cyclone Open and fifth place at the Kaufman-Brand Open, picking up nine wins (eight by bonus) between the two tournaments.
- Took fifth place at the Edinboro Open, competing at 149 pounds. Notable wins include Connor Muli of Hofstra, Ian Brown of Lehigh and Tyson Dippery of Rutgers.
- Had a 22-8 season overall, including 10 falls, two major decisions, and two technical falls.
JUNIOR (2013-14)
- Took a medical redshirt his first season with the Tigers.
NEOSHO COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE
- Won the NJCAA Wrestling Championship his sophomore year at 133 pounds, finishing up a season record of 37-7.
- Finished in third place at the Championships his freshman season, posting a record of 41-10.
BELTON HIGH SCHOOL (BELTON, MO)
- Took third place at state his senior year, along with a 51-3 record for the season.
- Finished in fourth place at state as a junior, with a 33-11 record with the Pirates.
