REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014-15)

In his first full season at Mizzou went 8-8 over four tournaments.
First win of the season came on Nov. 8, 2014 against Central Iowa’s Ryan Vandall (5-3 Dec.)
Best showing came on Nov. 22, 2014 at Joe Parisi Open, included four consecutive victories at one point.
Half of his season victories came via bonus points.
Lone pin this season came on Nov. 16, 2014 against Logan Little (Labette CC) in 1:29.

FRESHMAN (2013-14)

Took his redshirt year, competing at 149 pounds in five tournaments.
His first collegiate win came against Zach Duwe (Newman) by fall at 4:13.
Had another two pins throughout the season (6:07 and 4:18), as well as one major decision win (12-2).

TIMBERLAND HIGH SCHOOL (WENTZVILLE, MO)

Wrestled at the varsity level for the Wolves in his junior and senior years.
Qualified for state both years - at 145 pounds his junior year and 152 pounds his senior year.
The Wolves finished in third place as a team during Travis' senior season.
Graduated with "cum laude" honors academically.
Played football for the Wolves his freshman year.

PERSONAL

Herman Travis IV was born to Herman III and Rachel Travis on January 16, 1995 in O'Fallon, Ill.
He has three younger siblings - Caleb, Logan, and Gabby.
