? After recording back-to-back All-American campaigns, broke through during his final season at Mizzou with a 149 pound National Championship.
? Entered the 2015 NCAA's as the #1 seed at 149 pounds, and completed a perfect 5-0 record en route to the national title.
? Dominated his five opponents at NCAA's, outscoring them at a 29-3 clip.
? In his final three contests at NCAA's, defeated No. 7 (Alexander Richardson - Old Dominion), No. 5 (Chris Villalonga - Cornell), and No. 3 (David Habat - Edinboro) in succession to earn his first career National Championship.
? His three career All-American honors is T-1st all-time in Mizzou wrestling history (joining Ben and Max Askren).
? Became the first grappler in Mizzou wrestling history to record four conference tournament titles, after going 3-0 at the 2015 MAC Championships.
? Finished the season with an outstanding 37-1 overall record, including a perfect 19-0 dual record (6-0 in MAC competitions).
? Opened his season with a 149 pound championship at the 2014 Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.
? Placed second at the 2015 Southern Scuffle, going 5-1 with two wins over nationally ranked foes.
? Of his 37 season victories, an impressive 21 of those resulted in bonus points (eight major decisions, eight tech. falls, and five falls).
? 13 of his season wins were against 149 pound nationally ranked opponents.
? Had winning streaks of 20 and 17 matches throughout the season.
? Ends his Tiger Style career with 39 major decisions, most all-time in Mizzou wrestling history.
? Wrapped up his career with three straight 30+ win campaigns, and accumulated 134 career victories in the black and gold (third most in program history).
? Earned MAC Wrestler of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 8-14, 2014
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2013-14)
? Competed in four tournaments at 149 pounds as well as holding the starting spot on the lineup for the Tigers.
? Was crowned the champion at all four tournaments he competed in - Warren Williams/Daktronics, Joe Parisi, and UNI Opens, and the Souther Scuffle - including wins over No. 2 Josh Kindig (Oklahoma St.) and No. 1 Nick Dardanes (Minnesota) to close out the Southern Scuffle.
? Won all of his duals throughout the regular season except for a 6-3 loss against Ohio's Tywan Claxton.
? Represented the Tigers at the 2014 MAC Championships, where he defeated his three opponents, including No. 14 Alex Richardson (Old Dominion) in the finals, to finish first and earn an automatic qualification to Nationals.
? Won his first three matches at Nationals before losing to No. 5 Jason Tsirtsis (Northwestern) and No. 8 David Habat. Won 3-0 over No. 15 Mitchell Minotti (Lehigh) in the fifth-place match to All-American and take fifth place overall.
? Houdashelt went 38-3 this season and claimed two MAC Wrestler of the Week awards throughout the season.
? Was awarded both the Hap Whitney Coach's and Iron Man program awards.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2012-13)
? Moved down to 149 pounds on the Tiger starting lineup, additionally competing in four tournaments.
? Finished in second place at the Joe Parisi Open. His only loss came against the No. 1-seed, Jordan Oliver (Oklahoma St.) after wining four of his five previous matches by technical fall (3) or pin (1).
? Came in fourth at the Southern Scuffle.
? Went 13-4 in duals this season with all four losses coming against ranked opponents, two of which were No. 1 Jordan Oliver.
? Represented Missouri at the 2013 MAC Championships, where he took first place, earning his second-career automatic bid to the NCAA National Championships.
? Defeated No. 11 Andrew Alton (Penn State), No. 6 Dylan Ness (Minnesota) and Kevin Tao (American) before losing three straight matches to finish in sixth place and become an All-American.
? Houdashelt captured the MAC Wrestler of the Week for the week of January 23. Went 31-12 overall on the season.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011-12)
? Earned a spot on the Tiger lineup at 157 pounds.
? Took first place at the Kaufman-Brand Open.
? Finished in third place at the Southern Scuffle, his only loss coming against Penn State's James Vollrath.
? Went 15-4 in duals, including two ranked wins (No. 9 and No. 19) over Albert White (Oklahoma St.)
? Represented Missouri at the 2012 Big 12 Championships where he defeated No. 19 White and No. 12 Matt Lester (Oklahoma) for a first place finish and an automatic qualification to the 2012 NCAA National Championships.
? Finished the season at 28-7. 13 of his wins were by major decision, technical fall, or pin.
? Finished third at the 2011 ASICS FILA Junior Nationals.
? Was awarded the Marshall Esteppe Most Outstanding Freshman program award.
? Took his redshirt his first season on the team and competed in six open tournaments, placing in five of them.
? Picked up his first collegiate win against Adam Osmoe (Rend Lake) at the Lindenwood Open. Houdashelt won the match by technical fall at 2:57.
? At 157 pounds, took the titles at the UCM, Roger Denker, and MVC Opens. Houdashelt had three pins, four major decisions, and two technical falls between the three tournaments, with a total of 13 wins.
? Finished in third place at the Kaufman/Brand Open, his only loss coming against Nick Moore (Iowa) with a one-point 3-2 decision.
FORT ZUMWALT WEST HIGH SCHOOL (O'FALLON, MO)
? Helped his team to runner-up finishes in 2007 and 2009.
? Claimed individual state championships during his junior and senior years after finishing second his sophomore season.
? Had a perfect 51-0 senior season.
? In 2008, finished third in freestyle at the Super 32's, while also finishing second in freestyle at Junior Nationals.
? In 2010, he captured another third place finish, this one coming at the FILA Juniors.
? Drake Houdashelt was born on July 1, 1992 in Wichita, Kan., to Andy and Kim Houdashelt.
? He has two older brothers and a younger sister.
