A 2013 All-American for Missouri, Michael Larson begins his third season as the programs Assistant Director for Wrestling Strength and Conditioning while adding the Director of Operations title. Larson is currently attending William Woods University working on his Master of Education in Athletic Administration.

A four-time NCAA qualifier Larson finished his senior campaign with an 8th place finish in the 184 pound class. Larson finished his career with a 101-50 record after spending his first two seasons at California State University of Bakersfield where he was runner-up in the Pac-10.

Larson was a part of the 2012 Big 12 championship team, while winning an individual Big 12 title. Earning most falls and most improved wrestler in 2012 Larson then moved to his senior year where he was a part of the 2013 team who claimed a MAC conference championship and a 7th place finish at the NCAA tournament. Larson was given the 2013 Hap Whitney Coaches Award, an award given to a wrestler displaying dedication, commitment, sacrifice, and unselfishness to the team and also the 2013 Mizzou Strength and Conditioning Performance Athlete award.

Michael is the son of Jon and Lori Larson, born July 6, 1990, in Arcata, Calif. Michael is the older brother to Shane Larson and graduated in the spring of 2013 with a degree in general agriculture.
