Bruce Toal was bon to Bruce and Catherine Toal on September 21, 1993 in Sidney, Ohio.
His father was a swimmer at Michigan while his brother, Jonathan, played football at Wheaton.
Older brother, Zach, is a recent graduate of the Tiger wrestling program, qualifying for the NCAA Championships all four years of his career.
